Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Summary

MentalCraft is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect personal information. Your assessment responses are processed in your browser and are not tied to your identity.

What We Collect

Assessment Responses

When you complete an assessment, your answers are stored in our database with a random anonymous identifier (UUID) generated on your device. This allows you to see your own history over time. We cannot link this identifier to your real identity — no name, email, IP address, or other personal information is stored alongside your responses.

No Cookies or Tracking

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking scripts. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar services.

Server Logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may collect standard server logs including IP addresses for security and performance purposes. We do not access or process these logs for analytics or identification purposes.

How We Use Data

Anonymous assessment data may be used in aggregate to:

  • Improve the quality and accuracy of our screening tools
  • Generate anonymous, aggregate statistics about mental health trends

We will never attempt to identify individual users from aggregate data.

Data Storage

Assessment data is stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure. Your anonymous respondent ID is stored in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data will remove this ID, and your history will no longer be accessible to you.

Third Parties

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. The only third party involved is Cloudflare, which provides hosting infrastructure.

Children

MentalCraft is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used our services, please contact us.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect identifying information, we cannot look up or delete specific user data. You can clear your browser's local storage to remove your anonymous respondent ID and break the link to your assessment history.
